Welcome

Who Are We?

The Prairie Political Science Association (PPSA) was formed in Saskatoon in June 2007 by representatives from ten departments and schools in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba with the support of
colleagues from other regional political science associations in Canada.

What Do We Do?

The aim is to hold annual meetings and regular conferences which will facilitate research and publication, as well as the exchange of information relating to the whole range of academic, pedagogical professional and administrative matters that are of common concern to prairie and regional political science associations.

The Canadian Political Science Review

The foundation of the PPSA coincides with the inception of a new online journal, the Canadian Political Science Review, which is especially dedicated to the promotion of scholarship within the British Columbia Political Studies Association (BCPSA), the Atlantic Provinces Political Science Association (APPSA) and the Prairie Political Science Association (PPSA).
